Dakshin Kalikata Sansad (DKS) has grown over the years and your contribution to this growth as a Member has been phenomenal. DKS on its part, has tried to improve its facilities, so that you can enjoy the benefits to the maximum.
The essence of better management of the Club is to keep pace with the galloping strides of science and technology. DKS has offered various sports disciplines as well as different forms of entertainment for the Members from time to time. You will be delighted to learn that the new feathers in its cap - The new Lounges Overview and Square Drive are latest additions, along with Cosy Corner.
While the facilities are being improved, it is also necessary to abide by certain rules and regulations in keeping with the changing needs of time. This will also ensure that your rights as Member are protected.
In view of this, we seek your kind cooperation to implement the Rules and Regulations.
a. Honorary Members An Honorary Member, his/her spouse and dependant children upto the age of 21 years are entitled to enjoy all facilities of the Club. Specific charges for the facilities as laid down from time to time however, are applicable. The Honorary Members do not enjoy any voting rights, unless elected as President or Vice President.
b. Life Members A Life Member, his/her spouse and dependant children upto the age of 21 years are entitled to enjoy all facilities of the Club. Specific charges for the facilities as laid down from time to time however, are applicable. The Life Members enjoy the voting rights.
c. Tennis Members A Tennis Member, his/her spouse and dependant children upto the age of 21 years are entitled to enjoy all facilities of the Club. Specific charges for the facilities as laid down from time to time however, are applicable. Tennis Members enjoy the voting rights, subject to their attaining 18 years of age.
d. General Members A General Member, his/her spouse and dependant children upto the age of 21 years are entitled to enjoy all facilities of the Club, excepting Tennis. Specific charges for the facilities as laid down from time to time however, are applicable. The General Members enjoy the voting rights.
e. Coaching Students Students of various coaching schemes of the Club are entitled to avail of the coaching facilities for which they have enrolled. They are also entitled to enjoy the canteen facilities during the coaching period against payment for specific items. Coaching students however, are not entitled to use any club facility during the non-coaching period, unless specially permitted by the Committee for certain functions. Coaching students are also not entitled to introduce any guest to the Club. The parents of the Coaching students are permitted to be in the Club premises only during the period of their ward’s coaching. Attendants and chauffeurs are required to wait outside the Club gate.
f. A Member whose membership is terminated by the Club, is barred from entering the Club premises.

The Club remains open from 5.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on all days, unless otherwise determined by the Committee as and when required. In summer, the club opens at 5 a.m.

c. Cards Members availing Card Playing facilities in the air-conditioned Card Room are charged Rs. 100 per month.

e. Other Booking Facilities Members are entitled to avail of the facilities at the Passing Shot, Swimming Pool Complex and Swimming Pool Terrace for their private functions, meetings and parties:
a. Tennis Members and Guests are permitted to play tennis in tennis attire only. Round neck T-Shirts, Bermudas and Beach Shorts are not permitted. Sneakers or spiked shoes with raised studs are also not permitted.
b. Swimming Members and Guests availing the Swimming facilities must wear Swimming Costumes. No other form of attire is permitted. Members and Guests wearing swimming costumes must however, restrict their movement within the Swimming Pool area. Use of any other part of the Club premises in swimming apparel is not permitted.
c. Multi Gym Members and Guests availing the Multi Gym facilities must be in sporting attire only.
d. General The dress norms for the Club is Smart Casual at all times, unless specified otherwise for special events. Wearing of rubber or plastic slippers, half-sleeved kurta with pyjamas, half-sleeved vests, torn jeans are not permitted in the Club premises. This is applicable for both ladies and gentlemen (Members and Guests).
e. Bar, Lounge and Restaurant At the Bar, Lounge and Restaurants, round neck T-Shirts, shorts, chappals without backstrap, rubber or plastic slippers, half-sleeved kurta with pyjamas, half-sleeved vests, tracksuits and sneakers are not permitted. This is applicable for both ladies and gentlemen (Members and Guests).
a. The following charges for Swimming facilities are applicable for the Members :
b. The Swimming Pool is in operation from March to October from Tuesdays to Sundays. The Pool will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance.

d. The Members who do not possess Seasonal or Monthly Cards are required to register their names as well as that of their Guests at the Swimming Pool Register prior to availing the facility.
e. The Members who possess Seasonal or Monthly Cards must produce the same before entering the Swimming Pool Complex and need not register themselves. If however, a Member is unable to produce his Seasonal or Monthly Card, it is compulsory for the Member to enter his name in the Swimming Pool Register and will be charged accordingly.
CAUTION : Members / Guests / Coaching Students entering the Swimming Pool will do so at their own risk. Although Life Guards are stationed at the pool during the Swimming Hours, the Club cannot be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for any untoward incident.
